Animes to binge on NETFLIX

This was a list that I was not planning to do but my friend asked me to do it and I guessed this was a good time I shared what I watched on Netflix(anime).

So I only subscribed to Netflix this quarantine so I may not know a lot of anime.

Note: This list is based on the anime I’ve watched.

Top 11 anime to binge on Netflix

11. One punch man

The overwhelming sensation that I had during the entire series: Joy. All put-together the anime features great comedy which made me laugh out loud several times. The amount of power or “overpoweredness” of saitama also made my jaw drop basically every episode, giving me goosebumps and making me laugh or squeal. The action is, as I already said, very well displayed. I mean those fight scenes were just amazing to watch.

10 . The Disastrous Life of Saiki K

It has a huge array of characters, that by themselves are all pretty generic characters, but when they mix together ends up creating something really unique, with our main character having to be damage control for everything that they do, as he likes to let them get into bad situations without them realizing it and saving them at the last second without them realizing anything bad was even going to happen.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is one of the funniest shows I’ve seen.

9. Violet evergarden

Violet evergarden can bring peace of mind and sooth your hearth, it’s a show that needs to be savored for its special flavor called LIFE. An anime with a well thought-out story to convey deep feelings to its viewers, a well-kept and well-developed plot from start to finish, which is progressing towards a clear rhythm and objective, and which is well supported by the characters that go appearing throughout it.

8. Ouran High School host club

Simply amazing. I find all of the characters extremely unique. Each of their life stories are so interesting, and sometimes tragic. Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could forget any of the Host Club members’ names. The thing is, even the twins who are practicaly the same, are so different at the same time.

This show is really moving too, sometimes just the things they say, the situations, and relations. You could watch this anime over and over again without getting tired of it.

7. Bleach

Bleach continued to surprise me every episode, from the Soul Society arc right through to the build-up to Hueco Mundo. Every character has something unique to them plus i love the fact that they don’t base the anime around just the main character but instead most of the characters get quite a bit of spotlight.

I think you everybody should try bleach atleast once.

6. Death note

Death note is an absolute masterpiece. The scenery for Death Note was really impressing because it sets a mood of what the characters are going through and feeling. Speaking of the characters, they were also drawn impressively and according to their personalities. All-in-All the art was good, and gave more sustenance to the anime. There was suspense right till the end, one of the best anime I’ve ever seen.

5. Your lie in april

A beautiful anime. To tell the truth I haven’t watched all the episodes because it’s just too heartbreaking for me to continue because I already knew what was going to happen when I raed the manga. This anime is definetely not for weak hearts(like me) because it will leave you in tears but if you’re looking for a nice anime then this is the one.

4. Run with the wind

The story is actually quite simple, a bunch of college students decide to run a marathon, and their journey to reaching it. The execution is where the anime shines, there is never a wasted moment at all, every episode either focuses on the growth of a character, the growth of the team, or a major cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more.

Run with the Wind is the purest form of the sports anime genre. There’s no superpowers or hidden ability from the main characters, no successes by chance that help the team make it through. Even when all odds are against them they push to their best, this anime left me in tears in the last two episodes or so.

“Hey! do you like running?”

3. A silent voice

Another beautiful anime. The movie is not as heartbreaking as Your lie in april but it does has it’s own sad moments. The whole anime was a unique experience for me, the first thing about A Silent Voice that gets your attention is how good it looks & sounds. If they didn’t get this part right, the movie would have much less of an impact, especially considering one of the characters. The ambient piano background music really matches with parts of the film, and even the silence at the dramatic climax worked out well.

This movie will take you through a ride of emotions, it tackles heavy and serious themes but this is definitely something you won’t regret watching.

2. Haikyuu!!

Yes haikyuu!! is currently on Netflix with all the 4 seasons available. I think that this a great anime and I would recommend it to everybody who loves a good anime even to people who don’t like sports. Haikyuu’s given me something irreplaceable, I finally get to experience that feeling I never got to, even if it’s just an anime.

1. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

I haven’t watched fullmetal alchemist yet, so I kinda don’t have an opinion for this anime. I know, this was the No.1 anime of all time, I’ll watch it soon. A lot of people liked this anime in fact this anime was rated No.1 anime of all time, so I guess this definetely deserves watch.

Yeah, that’s all I have. Maybe I’ll try watching new anime and maybe Fullmetal Alchemist too in the future.

Thank you for reading.

  1. +1 each for One Punch Man, Violet Evergarden and Your Lie In April. With the exception of OPM which I’ve seen and experienced, I’ve only heard awesome things about them and plan to start them once this whole thing ends 😁

Though I won’t be seeing them on Netflix likely, maybe I’ll scour for them online as usual!

  2. I love OPM, and Saiki K is such an underrated anime! Funnily enough, I just discovered it about a month ago. Plus, I’ve read the manga for death note. By the way, I absolutely recommend One Piece, if you haven’t already read/watched it. Plus Steins Gate.

    • Oh, one piece and steins gate are alreadyin my planning list. One piece I’m thinking of watching it once it ends because I don’t think I can watch 900 episodes without knowing it will end and steins gate maybe I’ll watch it in the upcoming months.
      Thanks for the recommendations😊.

      • There are too much fanservice added in the anime. A girl rival was added ( none in manga ) and main male lead and this girl slept together in the anime. I was flabbergasted. There was no such girl in the manga, ( the girl who came from France ) . The main male lead’s mom was a piano teacher teacher in France ( in the manga) and not a maid in that French girl’s household. ) So disappointing.

  3. I’ve heard about all but 3 on this list (Saiki K, Violet Evergreen, and and Run with the Wind) but… hopefully one day I’ll get to check them out!

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was rated the number 1 anime? That’s so crazy! I wonder what made it so well-loved..
