Let’s get to the questions. Here are the questions:

For you, how do you tell if an anime is high quality in terms of visuals?

Well I’m not an anime pro so I don’t usually get into the details but I’ll give it a go anyway. I guess you can tell if an anime is high quality in terms of visuals if the anime has quite a few mistakes. I’m sorry this I seriously have no idea what to say for this.

Do you like to listen to anime OSTs sometimes?

Yeah not sometimes but always. I’m usually listening to it when I’m writing or studying, of course I get distracted but it’s still kind of nice listening to it. Most of my favorite OSTs are Katekyo hitman reborn.

What’s an anime that you consider a masterpiece?

I think it’s death note because it’s got evverything, from the perfect plot to the amazing artwork. I think 5 centimeters per second is also a masterpiece, I know it had emotional ending which even made me question it for a while but now I understand Makoto shinkai is a genius and 5 centimeters per second aws the perfect anime to show that.

What’s an anime that’s so horrible you think it shouldn’t exist?

School days. Definitely school days, this is anime I wouldn’t recommend to anyone not even true anime lovers because it’s just that horrible. This anime is the worst anime ever created, I wish I never even saw it.

What are your favorite colors for anime eyes?

I think it’s brown because it kinda suits every character but I think blue is pretty good too.

Can you help me think of some cover/banner image ideas for Anime Rants?

This is something way out of my field, I just chose my images accidentally but I’ll try my best. I guess for your banner image you can just post an image of an anime scenery like mine and for your cover image you can just have your favorite image of yourself or your favorite character/fanart. That’s all I can think of.

About how old were you when you got into anime?

I got into anime in 2015 so I think I was about 9 years old.

In your opinion, can an anime still be “good” and have poor, cheap art/animation?

In one way I guess no because anime is based on animation but I think an an anime still be “good” and have poor, cheap art/animation. I think all an anime needs is the perfect plot and characters and if those two will pull through then any anime will be good.

Do you have trouble getting motivated to write blog posts and if so why do you think that is?

Well so far no because I’m new to this blogging and there are a lot of topics I want to cover and another most important thing is the support I get from all of my readers, friends and family which motivates me to write more.

Have you ever taken a MBTI 16 Personality test and if so what type were you?

I haven’t taken it so far but I was kinda interested in it so I took it now and I got Turbulent mediator, I seriously have no idea if I took the right test lol.

    Well I thought you would be an ENFP but that was a close one!
    I think the best website for personality test is 16personalities.com because other websites only give questions with binary options, and I don’t think it would yield better results if binary options are only given to the users. However 16personalities gives you a range of options to select.
    You haven’t mentioned the website name so I am assuming that you took the test on 16personalities.com. But if not, then go ahead and try it out!

  15. Congratulations on getting nominated for this award! So many Sunshine nominees on this site, wow- I didn’t even know the award existed until two months ago LOL – you took the time to answer all of those questions, so I think I’ll just make a response to your answers~

    1. I guess cause the more mistakes it has (while still being high quality), the more authentic it feels? Like, it lets you know that “Yes, there are human beings working on this show- this isn’t just some Visual Ambrosia from Heaven that magically showed up to cheer us up”~

    2. OSTs are great~ Although the majority of my anime OST experience comes from the intros – I love intro songs!

    3. Death Note – I’ve heard it’s a pretty good anime! Very interesting concept too~ I’m glad that you enjoy it!

    4. Never heard of School Days, but after looking it up… oh my lord that sounds like a horrible plot- Oh goodness- How… how did this even become animated?

    5. Anime eyes are my favorite parts about anime~ I love them all ^v^

    6-7 are kind of personal for the nominator so… eh?

      I seriously have no idea how it school days even got an anime adaptation, it was so horrible to watch. I guess my age surprised a lot of people😝.

  17. Congrats on the award! 5 Centimeters is such a great film. I prefer Makoto Shinkai’s older works. My favorite movie of his is The Place Promised In Our Early Days. I’ve seen all his movies except for Weathering With You.
