Doridosim – A (very)short review

Synopsis:

With Kang Dol’s crush on Yang Yang growing larger and larger, he decides to confess his feelings. With his back turned against her, he makes a courageous confession. But when he opens his eyes and turns around, instead of Yang Yang, he finds Min Dosim standing in front of him. Oops?! But the more shocking twist is that Dosim, the school’s most popular girl, mistakenly obliges and they decide to go out! What is Kang Dol supposed to do to fix this mess?

First of all I wanna say I absoluetely loved this series(not more than something about us). Doridosim is an amazing love story the hook is amazing and the funniest part is the whole story is because of a misunderstanding the first chapter is one of the greatest I’ve ever read.

This is probably the most shortest review I’ve ever written so far.

I love how the characters are called Dori and Dosim which together become DoriDosim the title and the story is perfectly paced and the character development is fast and amazing the character interaction also feel real and in this story the reader is cheering for everyone but in the ending some win and others lose and the characters are just so relatable to everyone.

The style of this work in itself is quite uplifting and refreshing, and it gives life to the story in a way that the light novel genre, as vivid as it may get, cannot reach.

You guys know that I hate misunderstandings unlike other manga where the misunderstanding is drag on until the very end, this one is quick to clear everything out. It lead us into a unique space where the story is actually progressing rather than being at a stand still with the misunderstanding. This puts more pressure on the author to generate new ideas and make the story interesting which shows that the author is actually creative and not just relying on the misunderstanding to run the story.

Overall this was a great read for me and I’d definetely recommend to everyone who wants a light read.

Thank you for reading.
