After almost an year of not watching any anime. I’m finally back to it. Guess I’ve been reading too many mangas that I forgot how anime used to be. I’ve been wanting to watch any good anime for a while to get myself back on track but nothing really seemed to hit. I’ve searched from The promised neverland to Durarara but never really got through the first episode. And there’s where came Hyouka.
Energy-conservative high school student Houtarou Oreki ends up with more than he bargained for when he signs up for the Classics Club at his sister’s behest—especially when he realizes how deep-rooted the club’s history really is. Begrudgingly, Oreki is dragged into an investigation concerning the 45-year-old mystery that surrounds the club room.
Accompanied by his fellow club members, the knowledgeable Satoshi Fukube, the stern but benign Mayaka Ibara, and the ever-curious Eru Chitanda, Oreki must combat deadlines and lack of information with resourcefulness and hidden talent, in order to not only find the truth buried beneath the dust of works created years before them, but of other side cases as well.
Hyouka has been in my planning list for ages and after viewing the ratings and reviews I decided to give it a go and to my surprise it was really good. So far I’ve watched only the 1st episode so I can’t give my opinions on it but one thing I’ll say the art and the animation is top class. And I mean some really good animation.
I am really curious to see how it will turn out in the upcoming episodes. Till then see you again.
Thank you for reading.
