Drawing Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul and Announcement

Tokyo Ghoul

Welcome to probably the last post of the month. About the announcement, I’m going on a (very)short Hiatus because of my upcoming mock exams. My exams end in September 3 so yeah, I won’t be able to post until then. It’s my first mock exam of the year, a little scared about how my score is going to turn out so I’m going to study hard until then. Anyway that’s all I have and by the way I drew Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul, one of the first anime series I’ve watched and now I want to read it again, which I’ll probably do next month. I have the vol 7 of Tokyo Ghoul and this is where this scene appears, I was probably 11 or 12 years old at the time and it Horrifying yet surprising as to how amazing the art looks.

Will I read manga, maybe. I still haven’t completed Aria yet so have to get back to it soon and Mushishi too. There are so many mangas and anime to read/watch and I don’t have any time because of my exams. I guess I’ll have to get back to it next month.

Thanks for reading and we’ll meet next month.

  1. Wow, that drawing is amazing! I love how it’s gritty and really expresses the feeling of Tokyo Ghoul without looking like a copy of some official character art. It looks like it was made with monochrome watercolor, but I have a feeling it’s felt-tip pen, right? It looks great! I love it.

    • Thank you!! It’s both, I don’t own any color felt-tip pen so I used the black for the outline and lines but other than that it’s just watercolor for the hair and I used ink to paint for the cloth on the sides.
