The Vampire Dies in No Time: First impressions

The Vampire Dies in No Time (TV Series) (2021) - Filmaffinity

Synopsis: Legendary vampire hunter Ronaldo finds an unlikely (and unwilling) ally in Draluc, the world’s weakest vampire who turns to dust at the slightest attack. Together they’re in for more hilarious misadventures than you can shake a stake at, including enemy vampires, axe-wielding editors, and other pains in the neck.

Another fall anime on the way. The story follows a vampire hunter who learns of a mansion inhabited by a vampire who’s rumored to have kidnapped children and goes there intending to take him down. But then it turns out that the vampire’s a wimp who keeps turning into ash at the smallest things… And that the kids aren’t being held captive, they’re just using the “haunted house” as their personal playground.

As the title suggests, Draluc is an immortal higher vampire from the prestigious Dragon Clan who keeps dying and turning to dust from all kinds of small things. And Ronaldo is a vampire hunter who tries to kill Draluc but instead accidentally burns down his mansion and thus Draluc moves in with Ronaldo, much to the other’s dismay. Despite their differences, they must try to work together to defend themselves from rogue vampires, Ronaldo’s murderous editor, investigators, and more—with Draluc dying continuously along the way.

The Vampire Dies in No Time was one of the animes I wasn’t sure I would watch while it was airing since there were a lot more mainstream anime I was focused on but I’m glad I started watching it because the first episode was amazing. It was the comedy I never expected but ultimately liked.

I really liked the plot, having an anime with the adventures of a weak vampire with a vampire hunter, there will also be a lot more characters in the upcoming episodes so I’m really interested in the plot and as usual MADHOUSE did a fantastic job with the animation.

It’s been a long time since I’ve watched currently airing animes and I think The Vampire Dies in No Time was a good choice for me. I don’t think there’s going to be any progressing plot and probably more like an episodic one. So far I think the anime is going on the right direction and curious to see how it’ll turn out.
